We’re stoked to have Lower Than Atlantis endorsing Rotosound strings! Lower Than Atlantis are a British rock band hailing from Hertfordshire.

Fizzy Blood are a band born from ambition, determination and resilience. Based in Leeds, UK, their refreshing musical bravery has seen them shed any traces of the generic with their own brand of retro-inspired rock.

The Jam had amazing chart success with 18 singles and 7 albums to make the top 40 in the United Kingdom from their debut in 1977 to their break up in 1982. Their last 5 albums were all top ten hits and their last 8 singles made it into the top 10. Just Who Is the 5 O’Clock Hero? made the charts at no 8 as an import and remains the best-selling import singles of all time in the UK.

Drones are a four-piece punk rock band originating from the Surrey area. Formed by their love for all that is loud, fast and melodic, ex-guitarist/vocalist Daly George, guitarist Rob King, bassist James Kerr and drummer Mitchell Thomas set out to provide hysteria with socio-political tunes reminiscent of Anti-Flag, Strike Anywhere and Rise Against.

At Rotosound we pride ourselves on championing emerging talent, and Rebecca Downes certainly fits the bill in that respect. Fast establishing herself as one of the star attractions amongst the new vanguard of blues performers in the UK, her unique and powerful voice draws influence from blues and soul to jazz and rock.

The songs on Misty Miller’s debut album “The Whole Family Is Worried” were written over a four year period during which the now 21-year-old guitarist had to figure out how to operate in a musical climate where female performers are increasingly shunted into the pigeonhole marked pop.

Kevin Miller began playing bass and guitar in his early teens and left school school to tour Europe with his mates in the back of a van. After the usual induction to life on the road he returned to London where he joined a number of bands before becoming a musical director for ‘Tracie Young’ of ‘The House that Jack Built’ fame recording for Respond Records.
