The Wonder Stuff

Somewhere between the mid-’80s and mid-’90s, the Wonder Stuff were one of the biggest bands in the U.K. Starting as a revved-up guitar pop band, later adding offbeat folk influences while occasionally nodding to the excess of the Madchester scene, cleverness and eclecticism were the Wonder Stuff’s calling cards. The group was also blessed/cursed with a frontman, Miles Hunt, who had a gift of arrogant gab, delivering bitingly witty lyrics and lively interviews that won plenty of space in the UK music press.

Seb has worked professionally as a guitarist and musician since the age of 14. Having studied music at school he then went on to study for 3 years at the Guitar Institute gaining a Bachelor of Music Degree. Seb went on to play on various bands in around London (Munkster Misdirectors, Funky Lowlives). He wrote songs for these bands as well as writing and performing solo material. Support slots with these acts included opening up for Biffy Clyro, Damien Rice, Ash, Fun Lovin Criminals and Ocean Color Scene.
