I’m happy with the sound I have: if something works, it just works! – Kinga Głyk
Once I got Rotosound strings and I put them on I thought “Wow!” – Kinga Głyk
Rotosound has always had an indelible connection to iconic artists of their generation. From the Beatles in the 1960s, to the Sex Pistols in the 1970s, onto Duran Duran, Oasis, and The Libertines, we’ve been there on the most influential era-defining records.
In this spirit, we have embarked on a new series of films highlighting the best new talent; the musicians who are producing music for Our Generation.
Still in her early twenties, Kinga Głyk has already released four albums and performed on stages for more than a decade. Bringing a fresh feel to the electric bass guitar while always remaining joyful, Kinga took her musical journey from Poland to London where Rotosound met up for some exclusive performances.
Kinga has been playing Rotosound strings for a number of years now so we took the opportunity to discuss what she loves about her Swing Bass 66 Nickel set as well as discussing reaching fans on social media and inspiring female bassists.
Filmed at the Bussey Building, London.
